Women's Day! Are you proud to be a woman? Let's Agree or Disagree

8th March 2018! Today is the International Women's Day!! This day is a celebration for women all around the world, I really want to ask how many women of this nation are feeling proud being a woman... I don't mean here that I am not proud to be a woman, Yes I am..

But not every time, I go out late night, partying late with friends and then having fear to get back home safely, from boarding in a conveyance or shopping in a huge messy market, or having street foods in a local area. Because somewhere my mind keeps turning the thoughts of huge fear that how will I manage to go back to my place safely. Since when I opened my eyes & able to understand our community of harassment, Physical Violence, abusive world, Children assault, Minor Rapes and so on... These things have still not changed and God knows when will it?

Being a successful woman dealing with indoors, outdoors daily routines, managing things from professionalism to personal relationships, dealing with emotional tantrums showing how strong we are.. Of course, we are..

But at the end of the story, all of our efforts go in vain. When we still can’t fight for our rights and roam around freely anytime .. because the society has turned into monster faces, not each and every person but some actually are. We should fight for us instead of arguing, expecting from others, targeting government. We all need to grow up and take a stand for ourselves.

In comparison to past, now it seems like there is an equal status of women and men but then in the same society, women feel insecure! We have come across a long way and have shown talent in academics, research, industries, activists, etc. However, what we are lacking now is self-righteousness! This is grief-stricken!

Violence against women and girls is a problem of pandemic proportions. At least one out of every three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in her lifetime with the abuser who is usually someone known.

Saving our planet, lifting people out of poverty, advancing economic growth... these are one and the same fight. We must connect the dots between climate change, water scarcity, energy shortages, global health, food security and women's empowerment. Solutions to one problem must be solutions for all.

Discussing the women achievements in various fields, women personalities who made our country proud are also significant but what I think is, bringing the concern over the victim of rape, the right of women is important too, the issues which everybody should think at least once that is this is how a women should be treated ? obviously Not!

This is the only drawback of our country that people are more interested in enjoying the news instead of challenging or taking it seriously. The environment is getting out of hand day by day.

Talking about changes and developments.. a lot has changed over the decades, no doubt that in Rural areas  women are getting education, society is changing, but what actually need to be changed is "Mentality" only because of some people the women's of our country are not safe... and indeed this has to be changed!

The worst that could realistically happen is usually something that is not as scary as what my mind running wild with vague fear could produce.

I believe that for a country to be deemed safe, a woman must be able to live in it and engage in all forms of social and economic activities without the constant and imminent threat to her security.

We need deep introspection in our attitude towards female

A Woman’s Worth

She gave life. She is a wife.
She is a mother and she is a friend.
She is a sister a survivor to the end.
Appreciate her, we don't dare.
Ask her worries, we don't care.
Wipe away her tears, they are invisible as air.
She works cooks and clean.
She laughs, helps comfort, and hides her pain.
When you struggle she pulls you through
Alas! 'I am scared of everything'. And it actually jives with my experiences talking to women, who often profess how they are scared of multiple things I would never be scared of. It is true, that women are scared of everything. And when all these fear get out of our mind that will be the day of Women's day with no Negative vibes, Fear.
